Hella Trip!

A & I went to Malacca on CNY Day 1. My plan was just to stay over at my dad’s place at JB. But ended up at this hot spring in Air Panas Gadek, Malacca.

Honestly, that was my first time going for a hot spring. Haha! It was really fun! It’s a 24 hours place. There’s canteen, free parking. Best part, you just need to pay RM5 with no time limit!!! That’s dirt cheappp!

Easy directions there. After the custom, follow the signs to Malacca. Once you reach Malacca, follow signs to Alor Gajah town. (11km away from the main Malacca town). Once you’re in the city of Alor Gajah, look for signs to the hot spring. FYI, signs are in malay so it’s Air = Water, Panas = Hot?

I don’t really quite know how the place looks like in the day. But the place is well lighted at night, you can never miss it.

There’s stages of the temperature of water. The closer you are to the natural hot water (near the toilet there), the hotter the water is!

I was told that the hot springs there do miraculous healing. Apparently, many centuries back before the place was discovered, it used to be a hot spring for the spirits. So, if you wanna wish for something, say it before getting in the pool. Got to think of it, it’s rather scary!

Anyhoo, we head out to my grand uncle’s place. Stayed over and went for sea side fun after! The roster kept making so much noise, so we got up pretty early! Haha! It’s funny to see A staying in a kampung. Despite all of the field camps and etc, kampung is nothing compared to those, I guess. Haha!

Seaside was fun cause I manage to show A how to dig out for clams. Though it wasn’t season but you can pretty much find a lot of it! Sooner, I was told that turtles now go to that beach to lay eggs! I sooo need to see that! I bet it’ll be fun! ((:
